The 3rd Annual Living Waters Event
October 5th (Ladies Event), 6th & 7th!
A lot has happened since the 1st Annual Event where we had 27 states and 3 counties in attendance. Big tents were set up, a 6 stall restroom trailer here and every single creature comfort we could think of was made available to our guests! It was spectacular! As the 2nd Living Waters Farm Event rolled around, we were challenged by a number of things that drew a big part of our west coast attendees to locations in closer proximity, and our numbers were 1/2 as many registered guests that we had the year before! It’s not about the numbers when it comes to quality, that’s for sure, but it takes the numbers to generate the funds necessary to produce (what was in Year 1) a $20,000 event.
The 2nd Annual Living Waters Farm Event was modified to accommodate our smaller crowd, and we traded the tents for the farmhouse for our training. As it turned out, that’s exactly what God had in mind…a smaller, more intimate gathering that would represent a core group that would lock arms for a vision for all future events!
We had training in the farmhouse and worship in the barn, at it was during our time in the barn that we shared the vision to made some modifications to the 3600 sq ft horse barn that would position it to accommodate 275 people moving forward! This way we’ll always be prepared for whatever size event we have at the farm, and we’ll never have to “sweat it” or make modifications again! Hallelujah!
WHAT IS THE LIVING WATERS FARM EVENT?
The Living Waters Farm Event is best described as a “LEADERSHIP RETREAT”. Just because the event takes place on a beautiful farm in Virginia, don’t think for a second that it’s all just fun and games or that quality business training is compromised by the casual setting! It’s a retreat…a time to step back from the hustle and bustle…a time to refresh and revive…AND A TIME TO LASER FOCUS ON training needed to leverage your life! No matter who takes the microphone…no matter the topic, you’ll be better equipped for your business and more excited about your success than ever before by the time you leave! Some of our help has come to us in the form of financial support…some in the form of labor…and SOME of our help has contributed both! Terry Corle, our Event Manager came to town from Wilson, North Carolina to help. Earl and Regis Stephens came to town from New Orleans, Louisiana to help! Bill Powers came to town from San Antonio, Texas! Our vision to expand the barn may have been kindled as a “back up” plan to accommodate any size crowd on any size budget, but God has used this Vision to draw His people together to get the job D O N E! It’s been humbling and exciting to watch what’s taking place around here and we’re sure that you will feel the same way when you visit!

The Living Waters Farm Event is NOT all fun and games! This year we will have “boots on the ground” as we dig into to skill set training beneficial to EVERYONE in business. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better; you’ll be surrounded by beautiful farmland the entire weekend . You’ll enjoy training under a big tent equipped with tables, chairs, audio visual and stage. You’ll walk just a few feet away from the training tent to the meal tent for a cook-out lunch on Saturday and an old fashioned BBQ on Sunday. A continental breakfast will also be served each morning upon arrival. This stress-free farm setting will be a unique experience for all and it will provide a casual platform for you to visit with others and to get to know your speakers!
If it’s a cool October weekend, we’ll have heaters. If it’s hot, we’ll have fans. Are you wondering about “facilities? No worries! We’ll have restroom trailers equipped with flushing toilets and running water! They’re ALWAYS a big hit!
If you’re a fan of the front porch, you enjoy the view with me while you’re here. We’ll take in the view together and you can take as many pictures as you want so that you can savor the memories later on. We’ll also have a professional photographer at the farm for part of this event so that you can have professional and/or promotional photos made too!
