The 3rd Annual Living Waters Event

October 5th (Ladies Event), 6th & 7th!  

A lot has happened since the 1st Annual Event where we had 27 states and 3 counties in attendance.  Big tents were set up, a 6 stall restroom trailer here and every single creature comfort we could think of was made available to our guests!  It was spectacular!   As the 2nd Living Waters Farm Event rolled around, we were challenged by a number of things that drew a big part of our west coast attendees to locations in closer proximity, and our numbers were 1/2 as many registered guests that we had the year before!  It’s not about the numbers when it comes to quality, that’s for sure, but it takes the numbers to generate the funds necessary to produce (what was in Year 1) a $20,000 event.

The 2nd Annual Living Waters Farm Event was modified to accommodate our smaller crowd, and we traded the tents for the farmhouse for our training.  As it turned out, that’s exactly what God had in mind…a smaller, more intimate gathering that would represent a core group that would lock arms for a vision for all future events!

We had training in the farmhouse and worship in the barn, at it was during our time in the barn that we shared the vision to made some modifications to the 3600 sq ft horse barn that would position it to accommodate 275 people moving forward!  This way we’ll always be prepared for whatever size event we have at the farm, and we’ll never have to “sweat it” or make modifications again!  Hallelujah!

WHAT IS THE LIVING WATERS FARM EVENT?

The Living Waters Farm Event is best described as a “LEADERSHIP RETREAT”.  Just because the event takes place on a beautiful farm in Virginia, don’t think for a second that it’s all just fun and games or that quality business training is compromised by the casual setting!  It’s a retreat…a time to step back from the hustle and bustle…a time to refresh and revive…AND A TIME TO LASER FOCUS ON training needed to leverage your life!  No matter who takes the microphone…no matter the topic, you’ll be better equipped for your business and more excited about your success than ever before by the time you leave!  If you’re like most attendees of the past, you’ll be saying “I can’t wait to come back” when you leave too!

There’s a time and a place for glitz and glamour conventions, and they serve a great purpose in our business!  But there’s also a growing need for quality time with other business people…a chance to genuinely connect…and there’s a time to slow down and catch your breath before you speed back up for success…AND THERE’S A TIME to build your skill set!

A retreat is not all fun and games!  A retreat is a stepping away on PURPOSE…away the hustle and bustle of life…a chance to slow down…a chance to catch your breath…to chance to refresh and revive…AND A CHANCE TO GROW above and beyond where you are today.   We don’t raise farm animals here, and we don’t raise many crops, but we know how to raise a belief system.  We know how to raise hope, and excitement, and we know how to raise your Faith to better equip you for an amazing future.  Toss in serious skill set training and you have an event you can’t afford to miss!

Some of our help has come to us locally and some of our help has come far and wide!  Some of our help has come to us in the form of financial support…some in the form of labor…and SOME of our help has contributed both!  Terry Corle, our Event Manager came to town from Wilson, North Carolina to help.  Earl and Regis Stephens came to town from  New Orleans, Louisiana to help!  Bill Powers came to town from San Antonio, Texas!   Our vision to expand the barn may have been kindled as a “back up” plan to accommodate any size crowd on any size budget, but God has used this Vision to draw His people together to get the job D O N E!  It’s been humbling and exciting to watch what’s taking place around here and we’re sure that you will feel the same way when you visit!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better; you’ll be surrounded by beautiful farmland the entire weekend .  You’ll enjoy training under a big tent equipped with tables, chairs, audio visual and stage. You’ll walk just a few feet away from the training tent to the meal tent for a cook-out lunch on Saturday and an old fashioned BBQ on Sunday.  A continental breakfast will also be served each morning upon arrival. This stress-free farm setting will be a unique experience for all and it will provide a casual platform for you to visit with others and to get to know your speakers!

If it’s a cool October weekend, we’ll have heaters.  If it’s hot, we’ll have fans.   Are you wondering about “facilities?  No worries!  We’ll have restroom trailers equipped with flushing toilets and running water!  They’re ALWAYS a big hit!
2016-houseIf you’re a fan of the front porch, you enjoy the view with me while you’re here.  We’ll take in the view together and you can take as many pictures as you want so that you can savor the memories later on.  We’ll also have a professional photographer at the farm for part of this event so that you can have professional and/or promotional photos made too!

    Good morning from the wet lands of Florida! I am very much interested in attending your event and would like to see if it would be better to fly in or drive. What is an address I can use on MapQuest, what is the closest airport, do you have anyone who may want to share a room and car rental expenses? I’m moving to Ocala in August but want to see if I can get this factored into my budget. It would be so awesome to attend. Once I get this info, I will get my ticket. Actually, I SHOULD get my ticket and the put the other pieces together.

      Good morning from beautiful Virginia! I’m so pleased to hear that you’re making plans to attend this event. It truly will be an event like NO OTHER. The nearest airport is Dulles Int’l. It’s approximately 30 minutes from the farm. The next is Reagan Int’l…about an hour. The address of the farm is shared after registration (for obvious reason not on public flyers) – the town is Purcellville….you should be able to determine your plans by mapping that out. As we get closer I’m quite sure that we’ll have folks wanting to room share as well as share rides. We are working on getting a shuttle from the hotel where we have blocked rooms…we’ll see if we’re successful. I hope this helps!!!!

        It’s Fran again with a question (can you tell I’m a beaver personality?). Yesterday, I purchased my event and plane ticket and have a room reserved at the hotel you reserved. I have another person who wants to come and I told her I’d buy her event ticket today. Can I do that and put it under her name or does she need to make the purchase herself? She’s struggling right now but I know she will be with us at the top! Please advise and can’t wait to meet up at the farm!!!

    🙁 I am so sorry it wasn’t announced sooner that we were going to have a special “ladies event” as I would have planned to arrive on Thursday instead of Friday. We have about 7-9 of us flying up from Florida on Friday morning and won’t get to the hotel until around noon. How far is the farm from the hotel you have reserved? Have a good evening and the Path2Water Group is all excited about seeing all of you!

      Greetings from Virginia!!! I sure hope you’ll decide to join us! This truly is going to be an event like no other…not because of “hype” but because of the fellowship that is always enhanced by the view here 🙂 I don’t know how the block is holding up but there are other options on the website that are awesome. Stay in Virginia, Maryland or West Virginia and it’s all about the same time from the farm! I hope to see you in October!!!!

    Hi, I’m confused on the dates and time and need more details in order to look at flight schedules. The image with all the speakers reads Oct 7th — but your web banner reads Oct 8-9. Which is the first day? Last day? What time does event start on first day? End on last day? Thanks!1

      I’m so sorry for the confusion. Tamia added the ladies event on to the main event and I guess we’ve not done a good job explainng the two.

      The Ladies Event is on October 7th from 11:00-4:00. It is $35 and it includes lunch.

      The main event is on October 8th and 9th beginning with a Continental breakfast at 8 AM. The meetings begin at 9 AM. The cost is $150 and it includes 4 meals.

    What an experience and privilege to be a part of history at the first annual Living Waters Farm Event in Virginia! I had the opportunity to see it all, from set up to tear down and passion of fire from the participants in between! Close to 175 lives were touched by the spirit of the training, learning and friendship bonding! And I got a few hugs in! Come on next year! And make sure you preregister!       Absolutely, it was a FIRST CLASS event and I have already made my deposit for next year and will NOT miss the ladies event since I have already purchased my ticket. I missed out this year but NOT going to happen again! Aside from convention in Okinawa, this is a “MUST ATTEND” event for 2017. It is limited to 200 people which makes it more personal and it can’t get better than that! I urge EVERYONE to add this event to their calendar and to takes the steps necessary to be there! YOU WON’T REGRET IT!

      The farm is located in Purcellville, VA 20132 – about 45 miles north west of Washington, DC. Since this is a residence we don’t provide the specific address until people register…for obvious reasons 🙂 Let me know if I can assist you further.
